Buy Welsh wine

Welsh wine is hard to find in shops. Wales makes far less than England, and most of it is sold at the vineyard. These are the bottles our wine partners have in stock this week, checked every week.

Buying at the vineyard

Most Welsh wine never reaches a shop: a 2021 study for the Welsh Government found about three quarters of it is sold at the cellar door. So the widest choice is at the vineyards themselves, and a visit is often the only way to taste the smaller producers at all. Our list of Welsh vineyards says which open and when, and our guide to Welsh wine covers the grapes and the producers to know.
