Where it started

Hampshire wine tours

Modern English wine began in Hampshire, when Hambledon was planted in 1952. Today the county’s chalk downland is home to some of England’s most respected sparkling wine producers.

Hampshire vineyard tours you can book

Hampshire is quieter than Sussex or Kent, with fewer group tours. The best way to visit is to book a tour and tasting at one estate and make a day of it, with lunch in Winchester or a village pub.
