A tour of Oastbrook, a small family-run vineyard and winery near Bodiam in East Sussex, hosted by the owners. You park in the car park off the track signposted to the vineyard and walk through two gates to the oast house, where the tasting bar is. After the tour you taste the wines with cheese, biscuits and chutney, and the visit lasts about two hours.
Hearing it from the people who planted and run the vineyard is the main appeal, and you can stay on at the bar afterwards and meet local people.
Check which dates are available when you book. You will need your own transport, as none is included.
